ESI was selected by the Boise School District to build an expansion to the existing Timberline High School. This new two-story addition will provide science classrooms as well as several art rooms, increasing the overall capacity of the school from 1,200 students to 1,450. The project also encompasses site work and landscape around the perimeter of the building expansion.
Construction of the expansion occurred throughout the school year, while the building was occupied with students and staff. In conjunction with construction of the new addition, the project also consisted of an interior remodel of approximately 9,000 square feet within the existing building, including a new fire alarm system throughout the entire facility. ESI’s team took extra caution to ensure that its work did not disrupt regular school activities.
