Creating a Collaborative, Engaged, and Dynamic Community
ESI was selected to serve as the general contractor and construction manager for this four-story state-of-the-art academic building on the Boise State University campus. It includes high-tech classrooms, a 250-seat lecture hall, a student commons area that includes food service, unique student work spaces, a financial technology classroom, and financial trading room as well as a vibrant courtyard.
Relevance, Respect, and Responsibility
The building incorporates numerous sustainable elements making it 50% more energy efficient than comparably-sized structures, while it is heated by Boise’s underground geothermal water supply. Site work included extensive lawn and landscaping, multiple types of paving, water features and irrigation.
