The new Coroner’s Office supports Ada County’s mission to provide the community with the highest quality medicolegal death investigations and pathology services.
INVESTIGATION SPACES AND ROOM FOR GROWTH
The 40,000 square-foot facility provides dedicated space for investigations, forensics, and administration, and is built to accommodate future growth. The space features multiple autopsy rooms with viewing rooms, three coolers, and two freezers for evidence and preservation, numerous offices, plus family support and bereavement rooms.

Ada County Coroner’s Office was the recipient of these two awards:
- 2024 Idaho Business Review Top Projects Awards, first place (public projects)
- 2024 ENR Mountain States Regional Best Projects Award (government/public building)
