The Greater Boise Auditorium District selected ESI to complete an expansion and renovation of their facilities, which included a new convention center space within City Center Plaza. In addition to self-performing all of the concrete work, ESI provided pre-construction, value analysis, construction management and general contracting services.
Phase one entailed a meeting space within the new nine-story Center City Plaza building as well as ballrooms and a meeting space in the five-story building. Phase two involved construction of an elevated concourse connecting the existing Boise Centre to the five-story building that’s part of City Center Plaza. An escalator was installed connecting the main floor of the Boise Centre to the elevated concourse. Phase three included renovated space within the existing Boise Centre to modify office space, remove an auditorium, and add a small ballroom.
The Boise Centre Expansion project was awarded Idaho’s Top Project of the Year for 2018 by the Idaho Business Review. Click below for more details on why the project was deserving of this high honor.
