Concrete Flatwork and Slab Services
Our team has completed quality concrete flatwork projects for commercial office, industrial, education, public, multifamily, and retail clients. We have poured slabs for multi-family complexes and concrete pads for small restaurants. With more American Concrete Institute (ACI) certified concrete finishers than any other contractor in Idaho, and the only one with a Somero Laser Screed, our concrete work is done right the first time, on time.
Cartee Apartments
ESI’s concrete division is self-performing all the concrete and reinforcement steelwork. Level one slab on grade, level 1 to Level 3 post-tension parking garage, and Level 4 post-tension transfer slab-to-wood frame above.
Eagle View Landing
ESI’s concrete division is self-performing concrete work including the foundation, slab on grade, and slab on metal deck for the 3-story braced frame structural steel building.
Day Wireless
ESI’s concrete division self-performed all the concrete work, including foundation, slab on grade and slab on deck, and tilted concrete wall panels Work also includes site work with curb, gutter, and sidewalk.
Las Brisa's Apartments
ESI self-performed all of the concrete work including the foundation, stem wall and flat, and reinforcing steelwork for a new 48 unit apartment complex. Scope includes site work, curb and gutter, and sidewalk.
Nampa Industrial Building
ESI was the design-builder for a large factory that produces modular housing units using robotics. The facility includes an attached two-story office building. ESI’s concrete division self-performed all the concrete work, including footings, slab on grade and slab on deck.
Ronald McDonald House
ESI self-performed the concrete work including the foundation, stem wall and flat, and reinforcing steel work for new apartment complex. Scope includes site work, curb and gutter and sidewalk.
St. Luke’s Shipping & Receiving Center
ESI self-performed the concrete work for a new ground-up building 23’ below street grade to include spreads, footings, walls, slab on grade, tunnel slab, walls and roof, slab on deck, slab on geofoam, walls on slab on deck and reinforcing steelwork.
Gibson Apartments
For the five-story apartment complex 5th and Idaho, ESI crews poured a 20,700 square-foot parking garage slab and a post-tensioned slab which utilized 1996 cubic yards of concrete.
Boise Fire Training Center
Within the construction of Boise’s new fire training complex, ESI’s concrete division poured slabs-on-grade for two steel framed buildings.
Eighth & Main
Standing at 325 feet at its highest point, the Eighth & Main office tower needed a strong foundation to stand on. Our project team provided this by pouring a total of 12,000 cubic yards of concrete during the construction of the building’s foundations, slab-on-grade, and other associated concrete work. Additionally, the team cast in place a 285-foot concrete core in the center of the 18-story structure.
Edgewood Spring Creek Island
For the two-story assisted living facility at Edgewood Spring Creek Island, our team poured 1210 cubic yards of concrete for a 24,000 square-foot slab-on-grade and a 25,000 square-foot slab-on-metal-deck.
