Creating Opportunities in Healthcare

ESI is the design-builder, partnering with Cushing Terrell for design, on this new 63,000 square-foot Health Sciences Building, which consolidates several of the College of Western Idaho’s programs into one central location. The three-story facility will serve as the new home to programs for registered nursing, practical nursing, surgical technology, dental assistant, and medical assistant. Three large advanced laboratory spaces will be incorporated into these programs to include Biology, Microbiology, and Anatomy and Physiology.

Spaces for Focus and Reflection

Student experience spaces include a small café and Student Commons, as well as focus/reflection rooms and group study spaces to provide learning opportunities outside of the classroom on each floor. The scope of work includes some site improvement for connectivity to the campus central commons area and existing Nampa Academic Building, landscape/seepage bed, and some exterior plaza space.
