ESI worked with two separate owners to complete the six-phased construction of the independent living cottages for the 66,500 square-foot complex. Phases one, two, four, five, and six included construction management of 22 one-bedroom units and 25 two-bedroom units. Phase three consisted of the building of a 2,700 square foot clubhouse that includes a commercial kitchen facility, a meeting room, and a library.
Additionally, ESI served as the construction manager and general contractor for the two-story assisted living and memory care facility that was later added to the Edgewood community. The assisted living facility is a 24-hour staffed facility that includes a full commercial kitchen, dining room, party room, library, salon, conference rooms, on-site exam and physical therapy offices, socialization areas, and residential and commercial laundry facilities. For housing, it offers studio, one-bedroom, companion, and two-bedroom units.
For the two-story assisted living facility at Edgewood Spring Creek Island, our team poured 1210 cubic yards of concrete for a 24,000 square-foot slab-on-grade and a 25,000 square-foot slab-on-metal-deck.
