Teaching The Trades To Middle And High School Students
ESI is building a 5,000 square-foot pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) located on the existing Middleton Middle School Campus. The Career and Technical Education (CTE) facility will serve students at the Middleton High School, Middle School, and Academy. Levels 1, 2, and 3 construction and cabinetry courses will be taught as well as math and English specifically targeted toward the construction and trade industries, where students can earn academic credit.
Early Hands-On Learning
“This new building will give CTE students greater access to hands-on learning in a state-of-the-art facility” said Middleton School District CET Director Stacy Kastler. “This will benefit our students and community. With the need for skilled employees in the construction field, our students will be prepared to take on challenges and be assets to the industry.”
