Concrete Tilt-Up Panels & A Panelized Roof

ESI served as the general contractor and construction manager for a 54,764 square-foot addition to an existing UPS distribution center. The building was erected using concrete tilt-up panels, wood joist, and a panelized roof structure. Along one side are four run-out buildings, each over half a football field in length, assembled with masonry blocks and a panelized roof structure similar to that of the main building. The full shell of the building boasts an extensive overhead door system totaling over 270 doors; making it one of the most perforated projects ESI has encountered.

The interior of the building tops out at nearly 25 feet in height and houses four, two-story office complexes, built from masonry and steel. The floor of the structure contains an extensive web of conveyors connecting each area of the complex with the other. The addition was successfully completed in just under 24 weeks.
