Water Systems Built to Scale
Zero downtime. Zero compromise. Delivering critical water infrastructure with certainty.
From municipal treatment plants to industrial zero-liquid-discharge systems, ESI delivers water and wastewater infrastructure that communities and industries depend on with expert field teams and thorough project management.
Taking Command of the Water Cycle
Water infrastructure consists of interconnected systems that all have to work together. ESI has delivered projects across the entire water cycle, from source wells and treatment plants to storage, distribution, and reuse, for municipalities and industry alike.
What we build:
- Industrial process water and zero-liquid-discharge facilities
- Disinfection, aeration, and solids-handling facility modifications
- Wells, booster stations, and pump systems
- Wastewater treatment plants and upgrades
- Water supply, storage, and distribution systems
ESI adapts to the needs of the project and can fill a variety of roles: CM/GC, General Contractor, Design-Builder, or as a specialty subcontractor self-performing concrete, electrical, and earthwork scopes.
Our team is primed to expand operations in the Intermountain West and beyond.
Proving Technical Depth Across Complex Systems
Treatment plants are made up of dozens of specialized systems that need to be sequenced, coordinated, and built to exacting tolerances. ESI's teams bring hands-on experience across the technologies that make modern water and wastewater treatment work.
- Biological and solids treatment
- Pre-treatment and clarification screening
- Pumping and conveyance systems
- Storage and structural facilities
- Electrical and controls
- Site and civil infrastructure
ESI teams are ready to start strong on day one. Concrete and reinforcing, electrical, earthwork, site logistics, and more; we own the work and control the schedule. Further, our extensive network of trusted trade partners ensures the project has the labor and resources to finish strong.
Building Durable Partnerships
When True West Beef set out to build a new high-end processing plant, the project demanded a delivery approach that could keep pace with its scale and sophistication. ESI served as general contractor under a design-assist delivery method, bringing together the owner, five engineering firms, and numerous trade partners into a single, coordinated team from the earliest stages of design through final construction.
This collaborative approach extended to vendors and suppliers as well, which proved to be one of the project's strongest assets in terms of schedule and budget. Construction spanned 2021 to 2023, the height of a global electrical equipment shortage that was driving months-long delays and spiking prices up to 1,000%. ESI's team proactively sourced alternative suppliers and reworked procurement strategy to keep critical gear flowing to the site on schedule. What could have been a project-threatening bottleneck became a non-event.
A resourceful project team met the challenge head-on and delivered quality results without missing a milestone.
